Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Nurse Supervisor and Charge Nurse for our Birth Center in Saint Paul, MN. This 0.90 FTE role combines leadership with clinical care to support NICU, Postpartum, Labor & Delivery, including OR C/B, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

You will oversee unit operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians, midwives, residents, and teams to maintain safety and care standards, including Enhanced Couplet Care practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or RN with eligibility for MN license.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Two years of nursing leadership (e.g., charge nurse) or equivalent leadership role.
• MN RN license; CPR competency required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Birth Center and supervise inpatient staff.
• Provide direct patient care in the Birth Center as needed.
• Communicate policy and coordinate with medical staff and ancillary departments.
• Oversee shifts as Supervisor and Charge RN; evenings and nights as scheduled.
