UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a qualified Inpatient Behavioral Health Utilization Management Nurse to perform prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews for UT Southwestern's acute behavioral health services. The role supports medical necessity determinations and coordination with payers and treatment teams.

The position requires a Texas RN license with 5–8 years of inpatient psychiatric experience and experience with utilization management, documentation, and payer

Qualificações

• Graduate of accredited nursing program with active Texas RN license.
• Five to eight years of clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
• Active unrestricted RN license in Texas.

Responsabilidades

• Perform prospective, concurrent, and retrospective utilization reviews for inpatient behavioral health.
• Complete pre-certification, admission authorization, and re-certification within payer time frames.
• Maintain accurate utilization review documentation in EMR and payer systems.
