UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an RN Manager, Behavioral Health Utilization Management to lead the UM team, develop policies, and ensure adherence to standards governing admissions and continued stay for behavioral health patients.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and Bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years in healthcare management or utilization management.
• 2+ years supervising behavioral health staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Utilization Management team and oversee concurrent and retrospective reviews.
• Develop policies and procedures for government and accrediting standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, care coordinators and billing for utilization decisions.
• Monitor data accuracy and timeliness of UM processes and reports.
• Represent UM in committees and with payer partners.
