Job summary

ERC Pathlight in Plano, TX is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support inpatient and residential patients under nursing supervision. You will help with milieu management, meals, transport, vital signs, and daily activities while contributing to therapeutic programming.

This full-time role requires high school completion; 6 months of patient care is preferred. The position may require on-call shifts and adherence to labor laws across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record where applicable.
• 6 months of direct patient care experience preferred.
• Mental Health/Psych Tech, CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Milieu management and maintaining daily program structure.
• Provide patient supervision and support during shifts.
• Assist with meals, bathroom monitoring, and ADLs.
• Complete documentation of patient observations and check-ins.
• Participate in group therapy as needed.
