Sanford Health in Thief River Falls, MN, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to contribute to patient care under psychiatric staff supervision. You will assist with groups, daily living activities, and support a positive care environment.

Qualifications

• Must have good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the licensed nurse.
• Must be able to acquire a basic knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology and equipment within the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the care and safety of psychiatric patients under the direction of psychiatric staff.
• Assists in leading groups for leisure, socialization, exercise, stress management and art therapy.
• Assists residents with meals, daily living activities, and basic health care needs as appropriate.
