Howard Head Sports Medicine invites you to join the Precourt Healing Center as an Inpatient Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for day shifts in Edwards, CO. This full-time role emphasizes direct patient care, crisis intervention, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and well-being.

You will support patient care plans, document progress, and participate in ongoing training to enhance clinical skills in a state-of-the-art behavioral health setting.

Competenze

• Two years of direct patient care or community behavioral health experience preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention and management of acute psychiatric conditions strongly preferred.
• BLS certified and CPI or equivalent de-escalation training recommended.
• HIPAA compliance familiar; ability to document and report accurately.

Mansioni

• Provides direct patient care including vital signs measurement and assistance with daily living activities.
• Develops and delivers trauma-informed, culturally responsive curriculum for group and individual engagement.
• Documents patient behaviors and progress in medical records; communicates changes to nursing staff.
• Participates in treatment team meetings and collaborates across the health system.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and ensures supplies and equipment are stocked and functional.

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

BLS required

CPI/Therapeutic Options/CPRS training preferred

LivingWorks START or QPR Training preferred

LivingWorks ASIST preferred

Adult and/or Youth Mental Health First Aid training preferred
