Job summary

Telecare is seeking a Behavioral Hospital Program Administrator for the Santa Cruz, CA area. This on-site, full-time role manages clinical and financial success across the 4 Pillars of performance and leads a team delivering inpatient psychiatric care.

Starting wage is $156,572.96–$193,421.22 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus or relocation assistance. On-call rotations and driving requirements apply. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Services or Public Health preferred.
• Four years of experience in an administrative management position in a health care setting (inpatient psych experience preferred).
• Two years of supervising professional staff, budgeting, and program planning.
• Understanding of community mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation concepts, and Recovery Philosophy.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification required at or before employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Program including clinical quality, workforce engagement, customer satisfaction, and financial security.
• Lead and supervise staff providing patient care and manage business operations of the Program.
• Collaborate with corporate functions, state/county agencies, community partners, and consumer groups.
• participate in a structured on-call rotation and respond to work-related needs within scheduled timeframes.
