Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, NC seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to provide inpatient behavioral health coverage on a PRN basis for a 30-bed adult inpatient unit at Moore Regional Hospital.

The role offers hospital employment with weekend flexibility and strong physician/PA support, with duties including inpatient psychiatric rounding and BH consults in the hospital and ED.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification required for PAs.
• Minimum of two years of behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
• Eligible for North Carolina licensure and DEA registration.
• Current AHA ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient psychiatric rounding on a 30-bed unit.
• Behavioral health consultations in the hospital and Emergency Department.
