Job summary

FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to provide inpatient behavioral health coverage one to two weekends per month on a hospital-employed PRN basis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification required for PAs.
• PMHNP certification required for Nurse Practitioners.
• Eligible for North Carolina licensure and DEA registration.
• Current AHA ACLS certification required.
• Two years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, patient care, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient psychiatric rounding.
