Job summary
Horizon Health is seeking a Program Director of Behavioral Health (LCSW; LCPC; or RN) to oversee the Summit Regional Medical Center inpatient psychiatry unit in Show Low, AZ. The director will lead program development, staff coaching, and quality improvement across behavioral health services.
The role requires a nursing (RN) or social work/counseling background with 5–8+ years of leadership experience, plus BLS/ACLS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent required.
- Master's degree in social work or counseling preferred.
- Registered Nurse RN, LCSW, or LCPC or equivalent required.
- 5 to 8+ years of related work experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for behavioral health programs.
- Develop and evaluate behavioral health services and treatment models.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS, Joint Commission and licensing agencies.
- Lead staff development and multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Monitor outcomes and drive quality improvement.
