Job summary

Summit BHC in Las Cruces, NM seeks an Outpatient Director of Behavioral Health. This role requires LCPC, LCSW, LMFT or similar licensure and leads all outpatient counseling programs, supervising staff and guiding clinical practice to ensure effective, safe care.

You will oversee psychosocial assessments, group therapies, treatment planning, and discharge planning, coordinating with leadership to uphold quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical, psychology or social service field.
• Four+ years as a licensed therapist; PHP/IOP/OP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of social work principles, health programs and eligibility rules.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and oversees outpatient programs and staffing.
• Ensures documentation and regulatory compliance across programs.
• Provides clinical supervision and case coordination for staff.
• Directs treatment planning, psychosocial assessments and family therapies.
• Monitors discharge planning and community resource referrals.
