Job summary

Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital in Tucson seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician for Inpatient Services. The clinician will conduct psychosocial assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention to patients in crisis situations.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to support discharge planning and community reintegration. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited college or university or a new graduate with field education completed.
• Two or more years’ experience working with patient populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessment and develop treatment plans with patient safety in mind.
• Gather information from patients and families to inform treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Provide crisis intervention and support families in understanding implications of life events.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss assessments and plans.
• Coordinate patient cases and arrange placements within facility programs.
• Promote recovery and social functioning; facilitate education, groups, and referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility and accreditation standards.
