Qualifications

• CPI training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling to support treatment goals.
• Provide individual counseling as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Facilitate at least one group therapy session weekly and involve families at least twice weekly.
• Provide family counseling as per the treatment plan for adult/geriatric units.
• Collaborate with treatment team and community providers for discharge planning and referrals.
• Assist with milieu management, admissions, and intakes when census is low.
• Use CPI methods when managing aggression or violence and document assessments timely.
