Fairview Health Services is seeking a Psych Associate to join the Riverside University Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports patient care under RN direction to meet treatment goals on the unit.

The position is 0.8 FTE with day/evening shifts and every other weekend. Responsibilities include safety, milieu management, ADL support, and educational activities as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• 2 years of experience in mental health, healthcare, or school setting.
• Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable individuals or high acuity behavioral needs.
• First aid certification if assigned to chemical dependency unit.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safety of patients and staff through visual observation and documentation.
• Conduct safety checks of patients and unit searches.
• De-escalate patient crises and participate in milieu management with the team.
• Assist with day-to-day patient activities and basic care routines.
• Provide educational programming to individuals or groups as per treatment plan.
• Respond to emergencies per policy and support the treatment team.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field

Basic Life Support (BLS)
