Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Psych Associate at Riverside University Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. You will deliver patient care under RN direction to achieve treatment goals on assigned units.

Responsibilities include safety checks, milieu management, basic ADL assistance, and participation in multi-disciplinary teams. 0.7 FTE (56 hours per pay period), day shift, every other weekend.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in mental health, healthcare, or school setting.
• Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable individuals or high acuity behavioral needs.
• First aid certification required through the American Heart Association if on a chemical dependency unit.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN).

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of patient and staff; participates in milieu management and treatment team.
• Provides light to medium ADL assistance and mobility support.
