Job summary

Covington Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a compassionate Admissions RN Supervisor to lead the admissions team and coordinate patient intake for adults and adolescents with emotional and behavioral needs.

The role requires supervision of daily admissions activities, collaboration with the business office for financial counseling, and ensuring EMTALA/logs are completed where applicable. FT nights with rotating weekends; benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services field preferred or RN preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in a healthcare admissions role preferred.
• One or more years’ supervisory/lead in a healthcare admissions setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of patient intake/admissions, including call/referral management and scheduling.
• Prioritize admissions based on patient needs and facility capacity.
• Coordinate with the business office for timely financial counseling of patients.
• Provide guidance to staff and foster teamwork and patient safety.
• Ensure EMTALA logs, when applicable, are completed for admitted patients.
