Oregon Health & Science University seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide screening, diagnostic evaluations, and patient training focused on communication, swallowing and cognition. You will establish goals, develop treatment plans, and participate in discharge planning within a dynamic rehab team.

Responsibilities include supervising therapy interns, documenting per hospital standards, and collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology and state licensure required.
• ASHA CCCs preferred or in CFY with licensure in process.
• DLV/rehabilitation experience in inpatient setting is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate patients referred for speech-language pathology services and set treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; supervise interns.
• Document evaluations and patient progress per hospital and payer criteria.
• Assist with discharge planning and post-hospital placement as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and rehab needs.
• Provide education to physicians, fellows, residents, and staff on rehab needs and referrals.
