Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Marble Falls, Texas, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient team. The role focuses on comprehensive patient evaluations, evidence-based therapies, and collaborative care planning in a high-volume hospital setting.

You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, ensure safety and efficacy of treatments, and support patient education and follow-up in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Texas.
• Current Texas NP license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• 1+ year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients by performing comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and taking medical histories.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies per protocols.
• Develop and monitor outcomes-based treatment plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Counsel patients and families on care plans, medications, nutrition and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and outcomes and document care plans.
• Provide consultation in the provider's specialty and ensure patient care in various healthcare settings.
• Perform invasive procedures within scope and competency as delegated.
