Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Texas RN license with compact privileges or Texas NP license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Certified by an accredited board as an APRN.
• Acute care RN experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with comprehensive exams and histories.
• Order, collect, interpret labs and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and manage therapies per approved protocols.
• Develop and implement outcomes-based treatment plans with the care team.
• Counsel patients and families on medical processes and medications.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate referrals.
• Provide care in inpatient, emergency, or procedural settings, and perform delegated invasive procedures.
