Job summary

Rainier Springs is seeking an Activity Therapist, Inpatient, to join our team. You will apply therapy theories, assess patient needs across cultural and disability factors, and document responses to interventions as part of daily care.

The role requires developing treatment plans and plans of care, delivering therapy, and collaborating with the attending physician to achieve patient goals and meaningful outcomes for each individual served.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant therapy field (Music/Recreational/Art Therapy).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies theory and standards for therapeutic practices.
• Assesses patient needs considering culture and disability.
• Documents patient responses to interventions.
• Completes assessments within allotted time frames.
• Forms initial and subsequent treatment programs with orders from physician.
• Develops a plan of care with specific, measurable goals.
• Delivers therapy to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
