Fairfax Behavioral Health in Kirkland, WA seeks a Full-time Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist to join its inpatient treatment team. Required WA CTRS licensure, CPR/First Aid, and agency-provided certifications; a candidate with 2 years in psychiatric care is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Recreational Therapy / Leisure Studies.
• Must have WA State license CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist).
• Must obtain CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation certifications provided by facility upon hire.
• Preferred two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health care setting.

Aufgaben

• Ensure the program is appropriate to the needs and interests of patients and aimed at restoring and maintaining optimal physical and psychosocial functioning.
• Actively participate in treatment planning and implement activity services for the inpatient population as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Define and implement treatment goals and provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling under supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.
