Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) required.
• Minimum 3 years supervising youth services staff preferred.
• Experience with leadership training programs and CVMIC courses preferred.
• Knowledge of child development, early literacy, and family engagement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Youth & Teen Services staff, schedule work, coach performance, and provide feedback.
• Lead planning, design, and evaluation of children's and teens' programs.
• Oversee collection development for youth materials and budgeting.
• Align services with library mission and strategic priorities.
• Develop partnerships with schools and community organizations.
• Prepare reports and grants related to youth services outcomes.
• Manage department budget and procurement of materials.
