Job summary

Farmington Public Schools is seeking a Licensed Work Based Learning Coordinator for Special Education to guide students with disabilities through work experiences and transition planning. You will develop and deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and collaborate with teachers, parents, and community partners.

Under supervision, you will supervise sites, support job coaches, coordinate IEPs, evaluate progress, and ensure compliance with state and district requirements while

Qualifications

• Minimum B.A/B.S degree in teaching from an accredited institution in the appropriate special education area.
• Work Based Learning License or enrolled in a licensure program.
• Thorough knowledge of special education principles and methodologies.
• Ability to deliver and articulate oral presentations and written reports.
• Meet professional teacher education requirements and maintain punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises work sites as required by program standards.
• Provides direction to job coaches in classroom and field settings.
• Develops and maintains community partnerships for work experiences.
• Assesses student progress and adjusts instructional methods as needed.
• Develops annual IEPs with present levels, goals, and services.
• Coordinates delivery of special education services within each IEP.
• Schedules team meetings and collaborates with student support teams.
• Ensures compliance with district policies and state/federal regulations.
