Job summary

ExxonMobil in Spring, Texas is seeking an experienced Electrical/Process Engineer to identify, implement, and maintain advanced process control applications that influence pipeline performance. The role aims to keep operations safe and environmentally sound, with a typical experience range of 3 to 8 years.

You will monitor applications and collaborate with Field Engineers, OCC Controllers, and Optimization Engineers, troubleshooting issues and developing new solutions.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Electrical or Electrical/Computer Engineering required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and improve performance.
  • Excellent communication across engineering, operations, and field teams.
  • Self-motivated with safety and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support for advanced apps.
  • Day to day monitoring and support for existing pipeline applications.
  • Interface with Field Engineers, OCC Controllers, Optimization Engineers and other OCC Engineering members.
  • Troubleshoot and correct performance issues in process control apps or underlying processes.
  • Identify opportunities for new or improved applications.
  • Establish, maintain, evaluate, and steward KPIs on consoles per standards.
  • Assist in developing, configuring, and maintaining base regulatory process control apps.
