• Valid Indiana State Teaching License or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in field of education.

• Annual training and/or professional development is required for all PSOE employees.

Responsibilities

• Possess a background in teaching a hands-on math program or demonstrate an interest in and understanding of such a program.
• Be comfortable in student-directed classrooms with collaborative exploration.
• Develop math concepts with manipulatives and open-ended content.
• Participate in mathematics professional development sessions.
• Integrate technology tools into the math curriculum and model computer usage in instruction.
• Provide direct instruction in whole-class, small group, and individual settings.
• Utilize data-driven instruction to ensure standards-driven outcomes.
• Complete assessments, grading, planning, and conferences with students, staff, and families.
