Job summary

Lockwood Schools is seeking a Middle School Mathematics Teacher (Grades 6–8) to join our team. Under the supervision of the principal, you will implement the district’s math curriculum, plan lessons, and monitor student progress in a safe, supportive classroom.

Responsibilities include providing differentiated instruction, communicating with families, and maintaining accurate records. A Montana teaching certification and a bachelor’s in education are required; a master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Montana state teaching certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience with middle school math strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement district-adopted middle school math curriculum.
• Create lesson plans and materials to maximize instructional time.
• Deliver instruction across grades 6–8 including math and related subjects.
• Assess students, adjust teaching to individual needs, and report progress.
• Maintain records of grades, attendance, and progression as required.
