Qualifications

• State Certification as required for position.
• Bachelor's degree in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers business education curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Promotes a safe classroom environment conducive to individual and small group instruction.
• Teaches typing, bookkeeping, office procedures, business communications and related topics to secondary students.
• Assesses student learning and modifies instructional methods to fit individual needs.
• Maintains accurate records of grades and attendance as required by district procedures.
• Coordinates with other staff and participates in meetings and committees.
