Confidential in Ohio seeks a manufacturing-oriented engineer to lead, create, and implement innovative technical activities in mass production and new model areas. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale targets through data-driven PDCA and cross-functional teamwork.

The role emphasizes project management, process monitoring, and the adoption of new technologies to improve quality systems. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates in Engineering/Engineering Technology with relevant manufacturing experience.
• 2-8 years of experience depending on education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels to align direction.
• Review daily reports to identify quality gaps and implement countermeasures.
• Utilize data analysis and PDCA to lead and justify solutions.
• Monitor products/processes to maximize quality and minimize cost.
• Develop self and others through training and mentoring.
• Lead projects with schedule, budget, and resource planning.
• Test and implement new technologies to improve quality systems.
• Manage scrap trends and implement improvements.
