Job summary

Venpa Staffing Services is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer for their location in Ohio. The successful candidate will assist in establishing and maintaining the quality management system and serve as a liaison between project engineering and manufacturing regarding quality issues.

This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field and at least 2 years of experience in quality within a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of quality control methods and processes is essential. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ related Quality experience in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.
• Knowledge of quality control of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations manager and team in establishing, implementing and maintenance of the quality management system.
• Function as a liaison with project engineering, manufacturing, and the customer regarding the quality of electro‑mechanical assemblies, secondary operations, and assembly programs.
• Track manufacturing defects and communicate the data to all areas of Operations in a manner that drives clear understanding.
• Drive achievement of goals in Manufacturing Defect Rate.
• Provide technical support/solutions to quality control processes.
• Respond to manufacturing quality problems by investigating and resolving problems to assure a continuing flow of production.
• Establish and maintain quality standards and test equipment for all products.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ related Quality experience in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering preferably in an electro‑mechanical manufacturing and test environment with knowledge of quality control of manufacturing processes and process improvement techniques.
• Permanently eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
