Colorado Mountain College is seeking a Lab Coordinator for Healthcare Simulation to professionally coordinate the clinical simulation laboratory for nursing and allied health programs. You will manage equipment function, supplies, and provide faculty and student support during learning experiences.

You will collaborate with the Dean of Nursing to evaluate operations, ensure safety, and plan for future needs, while promoting student success and a supportive learning environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in nursing or healthcare related field required.
• CPR certification as Healthcare Provider required.
• One or more years of experience in a teaching or simulation laboratory preferred.
• Knowledge of simulation experiences in nursing lab environment; ability to create/evaluate simulations.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and update lab policies and procedures in collaboration with faculty and staff.
• Coordinate procurement and maintenance of supply inventory to support laboratory and simulation learning activities.
• Ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness, organization, and readiness for use.
• Facilitate scheduling of simulation use by academic programs and community healthcare partners.
• Prepare laboratory for specific use-cases including setup of supplies, patient simulators, and related equipment for designated sessions.
• Operate patient simulators and related equipment during faculty facilitated simulation sessions.
• Facilitate implementation of the INACSL Standards of Best Practice: Simulation Operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
