Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Bridgeport, CT, is seeking a Family Medicine Residency Program Director to lead an ACGME-accredited program in collaboration with Quinnipiac University. This role combines academic leadership, clinical excellence, and program development to shape resident education and community health.

You will oversee curriculum, mentor residents and faculty, advance scholarly activity, and ensure accreditation readiness while maintaining an active clinical practice within Hartford

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification in Family Medicine.
• Unrestricted Connecticut medical licensure eligibility.
• Strong record of graduate medical education leadership preferred.
• Experience teaching and mentoring residents is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Provide strategic vision and curriculum development.
• Mentor residents and faculty across inpatient, outpatient, and rural sites.
• Collaborate with Hartford HealthCare, St. Vincent's Medical Center, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, and Quinnipiac University leadership.
