Job summary

Hartford HealthCare, in partnership with St. Vincent's Medical Center (SVMC) in Bridgeport, CT, seeks a Medical Director for the Academic Outpatient Clinic.

This leader will guide ambulatory curriculum, oversee faculty, and support scholarly activity for residents and students in a tertiary academic hospital setting. Reporting to the Chair of Medicine, the role includes teaching residents and medical students, coordinating evaluations, and ensuring smooth PCP assignments.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
• Minimum of five years of academic experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be eligible for appointment to the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University

Responsibilities

• Teach residents, medical students, and other learners
• Provide oversight of clinic faculty attendings
• Coordinate Resident evaluations in the clinic
• Maintain PCP assignments
• Lead the Academic Outpatient Clinic in collaboration with the FQHC partner
