Hartford HealthCare seeks an Internal Medicine physician (MD/DO) for an Academic Primary Care Residency Clinic in New Britain, CT. This 0.80 FTE faculty position blends continuity care with resident education and program leadership within a weekday schedule.

You will teach residents and medical students, mentor learners, and lead curriculum development in an outpatient setting while serving an underserved community.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible).
• MD or DO, BE/BC Internal Medicine.
• Flexible, collaborative, and excited to contribute beyond traditional clinical duties.
• Passionate about academic medicine, team-based care, and caring for underserved populations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Internal Medicine residents in outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality outpatient primary care to a diverse and underserved patient population.
• Teach, supervise, and mentor Internal Medicine residents and medical students in the ambulatory setting.
• Shape resident education through curriculum development, bedside teaching, and longitudinal mentorship.
• Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives and academic projects.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to improve patient care and learner experience.
