ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Design Release Engineer to drive the exterior door latching system design from concept to manufacturing. Based in Auburn Hills, you will own components and coordinate with Stellantis and suppliers.

You will apply DFMEA and DVP&R methods, review CAD models in NX/CATIA, and support launches at assembly plants.

This role requires a BS in engineering and 3–5+ years in automotive product engineering.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical or related eng field.
• 3–5+ years in automotive product engineering.
• Experience with vehicle closures, latches, magnets, plastics assemblies or soft-close mechanisms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, packaging and release of exterior door latching systems.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Engineering, Procurement, Quality, assembly plants and tier-1 suppliers.
• Develop DFMEAs and DVP&Rs to resolve NVH, sealing, and robustness issues.
• Review vehicle environment data and package components using NX or CATIA V5.
• Support production launches and root-cause investigations at plants.
