ALTEN Technology USA is hiring an Interior Devices - Design Release Engineer to drive the design, release, and qualification of interior alerting components for Client production vehicles. You will manage FMEA, CAE analyses, packaging, and hardware/software development from concept through vehicle launch.

You’ll coordinate with suppliers, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with DFMEA, DVP&R, EBOM, and timing/cost targets while supporting regional on-site activities and test

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 3 years of engineering experience in the automotive industry.
• Mechatronic component design and release experience preferred.
• Understanding of component and physical integration in vehicle.
• Experience with global project management and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in CAD software: TeamCenter Vis, NX, CATIA or SolidWorks.
• Experience with LIN/CAN network communications and calibration tools.
• Familiar with DFMEA, DVP&R, change management and ECUs.

Aufgaben

• Direct supplier design reviews to ensure alignment with Client specs.
• Oversee design, packaging, and release for interior components and systems.
• Collaborate with advanced teams to define and package system designs before sourcing.
• Provide regional on-site support for interior alerting systems.
• Develop DFMEA, interface matrices, and design validation plans and reports.
• Coordinate software/hardware releases and change management activities.
• Support testing, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution for vehicle launches.
• Interface with EE systems engineering on VF specs and RAR analysis.
