Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Engineer I in Boise, Idaho, to join the DRAM Technology Node Development group.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field with semiconductor focus or related research experience.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills demonstrated in coursework or projects.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB or similar for data interpretation and automation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and evaluation of outputs.

Responsibilities

• Support DRAM process-node and product development including build validation and production ramp.
• Analyze electrical test, probe, simulation and characterization data to identify trends and causes of yield loss.
• Assist with characterization and optimization of memory, logic, and analog functions.
• Complete experiments and debugging methods; coordinate results and planned next steps.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to investigate manufacturing-related issues affecting quality and performance.
• Use approved AI-enabled tools for engineering analysis, coding, automation, and documentation.
