Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Product Engineer in the Node Development group in Boise, Idaho. You’ll join a forward-thinking team to enable new DRAM technology startups, qualification, yield, and ramp, collaborating across Design, Technology Development, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance to optimize products and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced AI usage and understanding of Large Language Models.
• Good organizational skills, able to make decisions in complex situations.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical skills, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Enable new process node startup, qualification, yield, and ramp.
• Collaborate with internal engineering groups to understand yield issues and priorities; provide direction for design integration.
• Develop and key metrics for feedback on a new technology.
• Support design verification and validation using CAD tools and simulations.
• Perform electrical failure analysis and yield improvement using data and bench testing analyses.
• Identify design marginalities and recommend design solutions for circuit-related problems.
• Utilize state-of-the-art in-house engineering equipment to support product characterization.
• Identify causes of low yield through systematic data analysis to drive improvements.
