Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a New College Grad Engineer for DRAM Product Development in Boise. You will work in the DRAM Technology Node Development group from silicon bring-up through qualification and ramp to production, applying your academic knowledge to practical semiconductor engineering.

You will collaborate with seasoned engineers on innovative projects, analyze data, and use AI-enabled tools to enhance engineering workflows while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated problem-solving ability through coursework, laboratory work, research, internships, or projects.
• Ability to collect, coordinate, analyze, and communicate engineering data using Python, JMP, MATLAB, or Excel.
• Foundational understanding of semiconductor devices, CMOS circuits, memory operation, and test or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support DRAM process-node and product development from build validation to production ramp.
• Analyze electrical test, probe, simulation, and characterization data to identify trends and causes of performance or yield loss.
• Assist with characterization and optimization of memory, logic, and analog functions including Sense Amplifiers and timing distribution.
• Coordinate results, compare outcomes with expectations, and recommend data-driven next steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process, build, test, and manufacturing issues affecting quality and manufacturability.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools for analysis, coding, automation, and visualization, ensuring outputs are validated.
