Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Designer III to develop and manage drawings and CAD models for our Airside Data Center Pod. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure bid readiness, submittals, and on-time order release in a fast-paced, engineered-to-order environment.

The role emphasizes design accuracy, documentation quality, and continuous improvement, with a pathway to higher-level technical leadership as you contribute to product development and manufacturing support.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant design experience as stated in the posting.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or related field is required.
• Experience with design, drafting, or product documentation support.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain equipment drawings, CAD models, bills of materials, and related design documentation.
• Produce job-specific drawings to support bid activities, submittals, and order release.
• Develop designs and documentation using CAD/PLM systems with accuracy.
