Job summary

Infra Tech Engineering, LLC (ITE) is seeking a Structural Engineer to prepare and review design documents for facility and bridge projects in the NYC metro area. The candidate will coordinate between disciplines, perform site inspections, and develop drawings and calculations for rehabilitation and new construction.

A strong emphasis on client relations and profitability is required. Ideal candidates hold a BS in civil engineering, with 3–5 years of related experience, and NYS PE preferred or

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
• Licensed NYS Professional Engineer preferred.
• ASCE Grade IV certification or above.
• Approximately 3–5 years of project engineering experience from design development to opening, including at least one completed high profile bridge project.
• Experience working in integrated teams.
• Experience with complex analysis tools for structural design.
• Experience with NYSDOT Design standards, AASHTO, NYCDOT CADD specifications, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural design documents for facility and bridge projects.
• Build positive client relationships and aim to exceed project profit margins.
• Develop structural drawings, specifications, and calculations for rehabilitation and new road/bridge construction.
• Perform site inspections and condition assessments of bridges and structures under construction.
• Coordinate between disciplines and develop contract drawings and specifications.
