Job summary

Infra Tech Engineering, LLC is seeking a Structural Engineer to prepare and review structural design documents for facility and bridge projects in the New York City area. You will work on bridge design projects for NYC Metro region clients, developing drawings, specs, and calculations, and coordinating with disciplines.

Responsibilities include site inspections and condition assessments, and development of contract drawings and specifications for rehabilitation and new construction of road

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college.
• Licensed NYS Professional Engineer preferred.
• ASCE Grade IV or above preferred.
• 3–5 years of project engineering experience, including at least one completed high-profile bridge project.
• Experience working in integrated teams.
• Experience with complex analysis tools for structural design.
• Experience with NYSDOT Design standards, AASHTO, NYCDOT CADD specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural design drawings, specifications, and calculations for rehabilitation and new construction of road bridges.
• Coordinate between disciplines and participate in internal meetings.
• Perform site inspections and condition assessments of bridges and structures under construction.

Description

Candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing structural design documents of facility and bridge projects for compliance with applicable code and technical standards. The objective is to build and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or exceed the estimated profit margin for the project.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Structural Engineer position include Bridge Design projects for NYC Metro region clients. Daily tasks include drawing development, coordination between disciplines, internal meetings, and structural design. Development of structural drawings, specifications, and calculations for rehabilitation and new construction of roadway and highway bridges. Perform site inspections and condition assessments of existing bridges and structures under construction. Coordinate between various disciplines, development of contract drawings and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil engineering from accredited college
• Licensed NYS PE preferred.
• Qualified for ASCE Grade IV and above
• Approximately 3 - 5 years project engineering experience, from design development to opening, including at least one completed high profile bridge project.
• Experience working in integrated teams.
• Experience with complex analysis tools for Structural design.
• Experience and Knowledge about NYSDOT Design standards, AASHTO, NYCDOT CADD specifications, etc.
