Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering is required.
• 4 years of experience in a related food/beverage function (R&D, Quality), CPG, or equivalent advanced education.
• Previous Product Development experience with powders and powdered drink mixes is desired.
• Ability to travel is required.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.
• Works independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads bench-top experiments, formula calculations, and develops prototypes for tastings, sales meetings, and sensory testing across KDP brands.
• Apply technical principles to ensure dissolution, dispersion, stability, flavor delivery, and consistency in powdered drink mixes.
• Interprets test results, writes technical reports, and communicates information within the organization.
• Supports innovation platforms requiring nutritional claims and/or language, and understands formulation implications.
• Verifies formula accuracy, completes formula documentation, and conducts pilot-plant trials with external partners.
