Job summary

Howard University is seeking a Program Coordinator for the School of Business Digital Learning & Innovation Space to manage daily operations, scheduling, and programming for a two-level learning environment on campus. You will ensure space readiness, lead events, coordinate AV needs, and provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Three years of program coordination or related experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating events and supporting technology-enabled learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Digital Learning & Innovation Space.
• Coordinate scheduling and room reservations using university systems.
• Serve as primary contact for facility users and provide scheduling guidance.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and ensure spaces are secure and ready.
• Coordinate room configurations, AV, and tech support for events.
• Develop annual programming calendars with faculty, student orgs, and partners.
• Monitor utilization and suggest engagement improvements.
• Maintain inventories and coordinate repairs of equipment and furniture.
• Collaborate with IT and Facilities to keep systems operational.
• Supervise student workers and temporary staff in the space.
• Prepare reports on programming, utilization, partnerships, and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with policies on safety, risk management, and usage.
• Act as liaison between School of Business and external stakeholders.
• Record minutes and disseminate across divisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
