Job summary

Stryker's Enterprise Digital Technology Innovation Lab seeks a highly experienced Senior Principal Engineer to lead software delivery and establish technical governance across multiple innovation projects. You will translate business needs into prototypes, pilots, and production-ready solutions while mentoring the lab team and driving rapid experimentation.

You will partner with cybersecurity, data, and business teams to accelerate innovation and ensure secure, scalable architectures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with hands-on delivery.
8+ years in senior technical leadership roles.
7+ years deep full-stack engineering across front-end, back-end, cloud, API, database, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and architecture direction for Innovation Lab initiatives.
Design, build, and review full stack software solutions and AI-enabled applications.
Prototype concepts rapidly and validate with stakeholders.
Establish engineering standards and governance for the lab.
Mentor engineers and build long-term technical capabilities.
