Community College of Aurora is seeking an Innovation Lab Assistant for the CentreTech Campus in Aurora. This work-study role supports STEM initiatives, helps monitor the Innovation Lab, and assists with hands-on workshops designed to teach soldering, CAD, coding, 3-D printing, and laser cutting to a diverse audience.
The position offers opportunities to learn new skills and engage students in STEM activities while supporting the Coordinator of STEM Initiatives and campus programs.

The Innovation Lab Assistant will support the STEM departments and the work of the Coordinator of STEM Initiatives. The Assistant will monitor use of the Innovation Lab, participate in, support, and/or plan events to be held in the Innovation Lab, and generally support and promote programs and courses in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering, and math). The position will provide opportunities to learn new skills (such as soldering, computer-aided design, coding, 3-D printing, laser cutting) and to assist students in workshops that are designed to teach these skills to a wide audience.
