Job summary

The Community College of Aurora is seeking a Laboratory Technician Assistant in a work-study role at the Lowry Campus in Aurora. You will assist with science lab preparations across General Science, General Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry and related courses.

Duties include setting up and breaking down labs, cleaning glassware, restocking materials, and maintaining an organized work area.

Qualifications

• Biology and/or Chemistry experience would be preferred.

Work-Study Eligibility Requirements

Work-Study Eligibility Requirements:

• Must have a completed FAFSA on file
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours
• Must not have already earned a first bachelor’s degree
• Must be pursuing an eligible program of study

Selection Process:

All submitted applications will undergo an initial review to verify work-study eligibility. Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements will have their applications forwarded to the hiring manager for consideration. The hiring manager will contact selected candidates to schedule an interview.

Applicants who do not meet work-study eligibility requirements will not be advanced in the selection process. Questions regarding work-study eligibility should be directed to the Financial Aid Office.
