A nonprofit organization focused on youth education is seeking an Innovation Educator in Miami, FL. The role involves designing and teaching a technical curriculum while mentoring youth, particularly Black male students. The educator will work collaboratively with a team of Youth Educators and other staff to foster a supportive learning environment. The position requires a commitment to youth development, teaching experience, and strong leadership skills.

Formación

• Strong commitment to youth success and development.
• Ability to build positive relationships.
• Management of classroom activities and Youth Educators.

Responsabilidades

• Design and innovate curriculum aligned with program goals.
• Teach core concepts to the Immersion cohort during sessions.
• Train and supervise Youth Educators.

Conocimientos

Excellent leadership abilities

High comfort level with technology

Experience working effectively with underrepresented youth

Experience teaching computer science

Experience mentoring Black male youth

Project management experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Educación

Bachelor’s Degree
