Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Florida Department of Education Teaching Certification for grades 6-8 preferred.
- Experience in STEAM or interdisciplinary teaching preferred.
- Familiarity with project-based learning and modern instructional technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver a comprehensive STEAM curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans aligning with ISTE standards.
- Implement project-based learning with real-world applications.
- Assess student progress with authentic, formative and summative methods.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage with families and the community.
