You will work with our engineering teams on design, development, and testing of new equipment, gaining hands-on experience in prototyping and manufacturing processes. You will create 3D models in SolidWorks, assist with manufacturing planning and cost estimation, and participate in equipment testing and data documentation.

This internship offers hands‑on experience in product development, manufacturing processes, prototyping, and engineering problem‑solving while providing meaningful opportunities to contribute to real-world projects.
Urschel designs and manufactures industrial cutting equipment for food processing and allied industries worldwide from our global headquarters located in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A. Consumers purchase goods manufactured on Urschel cutting equipment daily. Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate‑controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.
