Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst - Innovation Banking in Austin, TX to assess credit risk and prepare analyses for Loan Officers and executive management.

You will spread financial backgrounds, build credit studies, and collaborate with treasury, FX, and legal teams to assemble loan packages, monitor disbursements, and ensure regulatory compliance. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on customers and develop credit studies.
• Analyze credit and collateral information to determine risk and ensure compliance.
• Review client financials and perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk.
• Collaborate with bank groups to execute treasury management products and loans.
• Facilitate reporting with third parties and monitor loan disbursements for compliance.
